Miguel Tomás Gomes

UX Writer / Content Designer

Based in Lisbon, Portugal

My background in Linguistics stems from a core fascination: how words shape human behavior. In tech, I apply this to the intersection of language and scalable systems by designing experiences where good copy functions as the underlying architecture.

I lead with a data-informed approach by leveraging user research and statistical validation, which replace guesswork with measurable impact. While many focus on making product copy sound clever, my goal is to make it seamless. I write to guide users, ensuring my copy is the kind they don't even realize they're reading.

Beyond content design, you can also find my tech and ethics commentary in Observador and Público, two of the leading newspapers in Portugal.
